As of late, Meek Mill’s extracurricular activities include lots of Twitter. Amid his lightweight beef with actor Michael Rapaport, the Philly rap star has provided an explanation regarding his stance on Tekashi 6ix9ine.
When someone suggested 6ix9ine will emerge from prison as a millionaire, Meek replied, “Ok that’s cool but I don’t represent that using influence to cause unnecessary drama and then get them locked up after he portrayed a gang banger.
“Kids will believe that and follow up it’s not cool..I got a say so when we talking the trenches so I’m speaking for us! I’m off it.”

Meek made his opinion on the polarizing rapper clear earlier this month when he hopped in DJ Akademiks comment section. The social media personality was plugging a collaborative track he did with 6ix9ine. Meek wrote, “He telling… shows over buddy. stop posting bull you disrespecting us.”
6ix9ine’s girlfriend took issue with Meek’s comment and called him a “big hater,” but Meek had some words for her, too.
““ima hater because he’s about to tell after running around starting shit with people and starting drama lol,” he replied. “the streets don’t wanna hear it no more…it’s a fact. I’m not just saying it.”
6ix9ine has been behind the bars of a New York prison since his November 2018 arrest. Since then, he’s cooperated with the feds in hopes of receiving a lighter sentence while earning the nickname “Snitch9ine.”
He pleaded guilty to nine federal charges relating to his involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods last month.
