GloRilla’s previously mysterious pregnancy reveal has finally been explained: it was all part of the plot in her latest music video.

On Thursday (November 14), Glo dropped the video for her collaboration with T-Pain, “I Luv Her.” Directed by Benny Boom, the video portrays Glo and a man (played by actor Abraham “Da’Vinchi” Juste, who is known for his role as drug lord Terry “Southwest T” Flenory in BMF) meeting and falling in love.

Toward the end of the video, Glo is shown pregnant as part of a happy ending — only for the final twist, revealing that it was all just a daydream.

Leading up to the release, GloRilla posted two pictures on Instagram showing her looking very pregnant.

Although the post didn’t have a caption, she later shared in her Instagram Stories: “Was so sick of hiding & sucking my stomach in lol.”

Most fans weren’t deceived, but Glo doubled down by sharing more photos with Da’Vinchi, calling him her “baby daddy.”

In real life, GloRilla recently opened up about her plans to start a family but clarified that she doesn’t want to experience pregnancy herself.

In an interview with Charlamagne Tha God for his Out of Context podcast, she said: “I do want to have kids, but not my own kids. I wanna do the surrogate. I want somebody else to have my baby.”

“I want them to have my DNA, but I don’t want to have it. I just don’t want to actually have a baby. All of my friends got kids and they’re restricted a lot when they’re pregnant. [Nine months] is too long.”

The discussion was sparked by a line in her song with Latto, “Procedure,” where she raps: “This n-gga tryna get me pregnant, I need to tie my tubes.”

GloRilla had previously sparked controversy after making jokes about having multiple abortions.

When Sexyy Red debuted her baby bump on social media last year, GloRilla shut down rumors that she was the next female rapper to be pregnant by joking: “Stop asking am I next y’all kno what I do. I damn near gotta membership at dat place,” referencing the abortion clinic.
