24kGoldn appears to have the Midas Touch.
The rising California singer and rapper enjoyed a solid-gold hit — triple platinum, actually — with “Mood,” which logged eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The song has notched more than 1.6 billion streams and has been certified in 28 countries, according to his label RECORDS.
Today, the youngster drops his debut album El Dorado. Its 13 tracks feed into hip-hop, alt-rock, and pop with assists from Future to Swae Lee, DaBaby and Iann Dior, his collaborator on “Mood” which appears on the LP.
To celebrate the release, 24kGoldn is pressing the button on El Dorado: The Game, he’ll take part in exclusive TikTok livestream concert this Saturday, March 27 from 8pm ET, and he performed “3, 2, 1” Thursday night on The Tonight Show.
